Privacy Policy
Effective: January 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Intellimint (“Intellimint,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our Certificate of Authentication platform (the “Service”). Please read it carefully.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information you provide at signup: name, email, phone number, company, mailing address, and optional domain and wallet address.
- Certificate content you submit, including item attributes, media, descriptions, and issuer metadata. Note that minted certificate data is published to public blockchains and is permanent.
- Payment information processed by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers; we receive transaction identifiers and limited metadata.
- Technical data such as IP address, device/browser identifiers, log data, and cookies used to operate and secure the Service.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Service;
- Authenticate users and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
- Process payments, apply credits, and deliver receipts;
- Communicate with you about account, transactional, and support matters;
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
3. Legal Bases (EEA/UK Users)
Where applicable data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on: performance of a contract (to provide the Service); legitimate interests (to secure and improve the Service); consent (where required, e.g., certain marketing); and compliance with legal obligations.
4. Sharing of Information
We share information only as described below:
- Service providers who process data on our behalf (hosting, database, email delivery, payments, analytics) under appropriate contractual protections.
- Public blockchain networks: certificate records and associated metadata you submit are, by design, published publicly and cannot be removed.
- Legal and safety: when required to comply with law, respond to valid requests, or protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to confidentiality protections.
We do not sell personal information.
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in, preserve session state, and secure the Service. We may use limited analytics to understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser, but disabling them may affect functionality.
6. Data Retention
We retain account information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal, accounting, and security obligations. Blockchain data that has been published is permanent and cannot be deleted.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, port, or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, or to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email privacy@intellimint.io. We may verify your identity before responding. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
8. Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International Transfers
We may transfer and process information in jurisdictions other than your own. Where required, we rely on recognized transfer mechanisms (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect your information.
10. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.
