Billing & Refund Policy
Effective: January 1, 2026
This Billing & Refund Policy applies to purchases made on the Intellimint platform (the “Service”). By purchasing credits or any paid feature, you agree to this Policy and to our Terms of Service.
1. Credits and Pricing
Paid features of the Service are fueled by pre-paid credits purchased in credit packs. Current pricing is shown at checkout and may change without prior notice for future purchases; changes do not affect credits already purchased.
- Credits are denominated in units, not currency.
- Credits are consumed as you mint, issue, or transfer certificates.
- Credits do not expire unless otherwise stated at purchase.
- Credits are non-transferable between accounts and have no cash value.
2. Payment Processing
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. By providing payment information, you authorize us and Stripe to charge the payment method you select for all fees associated with your purchase. You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.
3. Taxes
Listed prices are exclusive of any applicable sales, use, VAT, GST, or similar taxes, which, when required, will be added at checkout or charged separately in accordance with applicable law.
4. Refund Eligibility
Because credits are digital goods that are made available immediately upon purchase, all sales are generally final. However, we will consider refunds in the following cases:
- Duplicate or erroneous charge: we will refund the duplicate or incorrect amount in full.
- Unauthorized transaction: we will refund verified unauthorized charges after reasonable investigation.
- Service failure: if credits were purchased but not delivered due to a verified platform failure, we will either re-deliver the credits or refund the purchase.
- Unused credits within 7 days: we will, at our discretion, refund unused credits if the request is submitted within 7 days of purchase and no credits have been consumed.
5. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not generally be issued for:
- Credits that have already been consumed, including credits used for minted or transferred certificates;
- Blockchain network fees or third-party processing fees;
- Accounts suspended or terminated for violations of our Terms of Service;
- Change of mind after credits have been used or after 7 days of purchase.
6. How to Request a Refund
Email billing@intellimint.io from the email address associated with your account. Include your account email, order ID or receipt, the date of purchase, and the reason for your request. We aim to respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your card issuer or bank.
7. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first so we can resolve the issue promptly. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in the suspension of your account while the dispute is investigated.
8. Blockchain Finality
Certificate minting, issuance, and transfer operations on public blockchains are irreversible once confirmed. Credits consumed by successful on-chain operations are not refundable, regardless of downstream business decisions.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. The “Effective” date at the top indicates the latest revision. Changes apply to purchases made after that date.
